About the hotel
Centrální Lázně is a four-star Superior hotel right by the Main Colonnade and the mineral springs. It stands on the site of the town's first bathhouse of 1812, known as the Badehaus — where the story of spa treatment on Goethe Square began. Its 1,650 m² spa centre comprises 70 treatment cabins, among them 24 historic treatment rooms with original 19th-century tiling, and the unique Maria's gas pool — a traditional treatment using natural CO₂ that rises from the Maria Spring right inside the hotel complex and has been used since 1905.
The complex includes Maria Spa, housed in the building of the original peat baths of 1882. Covered corridors connect the hotel with Nové Lázně and the Casino, and the Via Imperialis links it to the Hvězda resort; guests have free entry to the Roman Bath at Nové Lázně and to the Aqua Wellness at Hotel Hvězda.
The hotel stands directly on Goethe Square, just steps from the Main Colonnade and the most important mineral springs. This exceptional location makes it effortless for guests to incorporate a daily drinking cure into their spa programme.
