The mildest of the great drinking springs, traditionally used for upper respiratory complaints — including inhalation and gargling — and for stomach troubles. Its elegant pavilion at the northern edge of the spa quarter is a favourite goal of the morning walk.

It rises at the edge of the spa quarter by the Třebízský brook, and its Empire-style pavilion of 1869 is among the most graceful in the spa. Thanks to its mild alkaline composition it also suits inhalation and gargling; the morning walk to the Forest Spring, cup in hand, is a daily ritual for many guests.
How the drinking cure works
The water is sipped slowly, usually before meals — traditionally from a spouted spa cup that guides it past the front teeth. Which spring, how much and how often is set by your spa physician, because every water acts differently. This page informs; it is no substitute for medical advice.
